This is brilliant! I’ve only met 1 person that defied my theory—and I’m not suggesting there aren’t more—that the best cure for catholicism is catholic schools!

Most sibs went to Catholic schools. None of them have a desire to go to church

Thoughts and prayers work about as well as tots and pears but the latter at least is funny.

I know you're an atheist, but you have the right to be one. I liked your post because the superior Being doesn't need humans to pray to him.

Many priests are alcoholics and pedophiles. A sanctuary for criminals.

Conquering and forced religion go hand in hand. Ironic.

Why does Catholic Church teach against natural reproduction of humanity for priests and nuns? Torture? Or let’s see who obeys gods laws; not the church’s laws.

My next door neighbor, her 10 year old daughter and her 8 year old daughter were killed in a car incident. I no longer call them accidents. The reverend who preached their service and wrote a paragraph the following Sunday about god not choosing- we have free will. And all too often humans choose poorly. That began my deconstruction at 15. To make sense of why he needed to say this. The woman who hit their car drove on the shoulder around 4 parked cars at a red light and broadsided the car. As the facts of the accident became known over the week ahead- it presented many difficult conversations in many of the families who knew these lovely people.

Why did the woman drive around parked cars at a red light? Her son had been hit in the leg with a pellet gun (1976) and she just didn’t know enough about the type of injury he had. I never excuse anyone for running red lights. Nothing is that important. If it’s that important- 911 is the safe way to keep your and every else’s loved ones safer.
